HPV testing is usually used to determine the presence of cytological lesions, HPV virus infection and is used as one of the methods to screen for cervical cancer, but pathological changes such as ectopic cervical columnar epithelium and local inflammation such as cervicitis can also lead to contact bleeding and require clarification of the disease through investigations and microscopy.
