What is the color of contact bleeding?

Contact bleeding is mostly related to ectopic cervical columnar epithelium, so the colour of the blood flow is usually dark red and small, but if the bleeding is relatively heavy and the blood can be discharged from the vagina in time without oxidation due to prolonged stay, the colour of the bleeding may be brighter red.
In the mid to late stages of cervical cancer, the bleeding is usually more severe than before and therefore the blood may be bright red and may be accompanied by abnormalities such as vaginal drainage and odour.
