Causes of contact bleeding from the uterus

Contact bleeding from the cervix has the following clinical causes: First, chronic inflammation of the cervix, which leads to brittle cervical tissue and capillary rupture after contact, causing bleeding. Secondly, due to local redundancy of the cervix, such as cervical polyps, bleeding may also occur after contact. Third, cervical epithelial lesions or cervical cancer may also cause bleeding after contact. Fourth, because the lesion of endometriosis is ectopic in the cervix, the ectopic lesion itself is relatively brittle, and local bleeding may occur after contact. Therefore, all of these causes can cause cervical contact bleeding, gynecological examination should be done and screening for cervical cancer is recommended to find out whether there are lesions in the cervical epithelium.
