Is malaria in Africa a lifelong disease?

African malaria is not a lifelong disease.
African malaria is a parasitic infectious disease caused by infection with Plasmodium that causes illness in humans or animals and is mostly curable with prompt treatment.
The causative agent of the disease is Plasmodium vivax, which is mainly transmitted by mosquitoes. After infection, there will be fever, vomiting, fatigue, fear of cold and other symptoms, and in severe cases, multiple organ failure can occur, and even lead to death.
Malaria in Africa is not a lifelong disease and can be cured with treatment. After Plasmodium infection, the main way to clarify whether the infection is Plasmodium is through the blood test. Anti-malarial drugs, such as artemisinin, are then administered under medical supervision.
