In serious cases, surgery is needed. (4) If only the feet are swollen and there are no other uncomfortable symptoms, and the difference in the degree of swelling in the morning and evening is not great, it is recommended to check the lymphatic system, which is usually seen in general surgery, or if it is caused by filariasis, it is necessary to refer to the infection department. (5) If the feet are swollen, accompanied by chills and fear of cold, but the body temperature is normal, the thyroid function can be checked to see if the swollen feet are caused by hypothyroidism.
