Breast nodules in category 4 itself include some malignant nodules, and if they are not malignant category 4 nodules can become malignant within a few months at the earliest, or they may not become malignant. Breast nodule category 4 belongs to the imaging classification, called BI-RADS classification, which is divided into a total of 0-6 categories, the possibility of malignancy varies from category 4, which is divided into 4a, 4b, and 4c categories. 4a nodules have a less than 15% chance of malignancy, 4b nodules have a 50% chance of malignancy, and 4c nodules have a higher chance of malignancy, more than 50%. Therefore, some of the nodes in the 4 categories of breast nodules are already malignant and some are still benign, where benign nodules can become malignant in just a few months at the earliest, but some nodules will not become malignant. If the imaging diagnosis of breast nodules is category 4, further fine-needle aspiration biopsy is recommended to clarify the nature of the lesion, or direct surgical treatment can be performed, and the scope and mode of surgery can be decided after intraoperative frozen pathology examination.
