Lung cancer is a very common malignant tumor of the respiratory system. Generally, the treatment effect of early stage lung cancer is still relatively good, and most of them can survive for more than 5 years, or even 10 years or longer. If there is no recurrence for more than 5-10 years, it is considered to be clinically cured, which means it does not affect life expectancy, but it does not necessarily mean that it will not recur, only that the chance of recurrence may be much lower. Among lung cancers, two types of lung adenocarcinoma and lung squamous carcinoma are more common. Early stage of lung cancer is mainly treated by radical surgery, with lung nodule resection and lobectomy, and post-operative treatment needs to be combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy to control the disease development. For some lung adenocarcinoma, if there is a mutation in the genetic test, targeted therapy can be applied, which may have a better effect and work directly on the target, with less side effects.
