The high cost of nephritis treatment mainly depends on the classification of nephritis. Some nephritis can be cured, such as acute glomerulonephritis. The cost of treatment is not high if the disease is detected in time and treated with active and reasonable clinical treatment, and the duration of the disease is usually less than eight weeks. Acute interstitial nephritis, if detected in time and given reasonable treatment, can be well controlled clinically, and the cost is generally not high. Chronic glomerulonephritis, chronic interstitial nephritis, and acute glomerulonephritis are more expensive to treat because of the longer course of the disease. Especially as the disease progresses to end-stage renal disease, the cost is greater.
