Urobilinogen 1+ indicates a positive urobilinogen. A normal person can be tested negative to weakly positive for urobilinogen and can also have urobilinogen 1+ if they drink less water. Pregnant women who are found to have urobilinogen 1+ during routine urinalysis often have little clinical significance and can be judged in conjunction with the clinical presentation of the pregnant woman. Urobilinogen 1+ alone can be reviewed regularly and sometimes disappears on its own. In addition, urobilinogen 1+ can also be seen in diseases of the hepatobiliary system or hemolytic diseases, such as various hepatitis, cholecystitis, and hemolytic anemia. Urobilinogen 1+ may also occur if you exercise vigorously before the test or if you take certain medications. Pregnant women with this condition are advised to go to the hospital for a repeat urine test, as well as a liver function test. If the bilirubin in the liver function is normal and there are no other abnormal indicators, it is generally considered physiological urobilinogen, then there is no need to worry too much and no special treatment is needed, and it usually has no major impact on the fetus. In addition to the normal urine examination during pregnancy, pregnant women should also pay attention to self-counting fetal movements, measuring blood pressure on a regular basis, laboratory tests for blood tests and other indicators, and regular screening for gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes to avoid the impact on the pregnant women themselves and the fetus.
