What is the best treatment for female infertility?

The most common infertility factor on the female side is tubal. Endometriosis and an increase in pelvic inflammatory disease can lead to tubal infertility. The main treatment for tubal infertility is IVF-ET (in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer). Diagnosis of ovulation disorders must be done with an accurate endocrine test. Ovulation induction is almost impossible in patients with hypergonadotropic hypogonadism. Treatment of infertility with cervical factors is possible with artificial insemination of the husband’s semen or, if this is not effective, IVF-ET. For uterine factors, such as post-hysterectomy and uterine adhesions, treatment of infertility with surrogacy is possible in some countries. For infertile patients with antiphospholipid antibodies, low doses of aspirin and/or heparin may be used.
