(4. Vertigo: A few patients have transient mild vertigo during head movement. (Rarely) 5. Family history. (May have) SLE screening Arthralgia, joint swelling and pain, recurrent mouth ulcers (more than 3 per year), malaise, unprovoked fever, photosensitivity (UV sensitivity), rash (especially pteroidal erythema on the face), physical examination reveals decreased blood count in any of the three lines, proteinuria. Further screening for SLE is done with any of these conditions, both blood tests (antinuclear antibodies, rheumatology 17, immune 5).
