If a patient experiences dizziness and headache in the afternoon, it may be due to hypertension in the afternoon. Generally speaking, the patient’s blood pressure is highest in the day between 4-8 p.m. It is likely that the patient is experiencing dizziness and headache due to high blood pressure at this time. It is recommended that patients with head discomfort should have their blood pressure measured in order to rule out the existence of blood pressure abnormalities. If no abnormalities are found after examination, patients can combine head CT and transcranial Doppler examination. Other patients may have similar discomfort due to inadequate blood supply to the cerebral arteries or their own cerebral infarction.
