Don’t take headaches lightly

Headache is arguably one of the most common symptoms of neurosurgery. The vast majority of diseases related to neurosurgery are initially characterized by headache, which manifests itself as discomfort at the beginning, and then gradually worsens, often manifesting as distension and pain, and worsens when coughing and sneezing. Many patients do not care about it in the early stage and treat it as a cold, but they often come to the clinic only when they have difficulty in moving their limbs and vomiting, and by then the tumor has already grown, which will add a lot of trouble to the surgery. Therefore, when headache occurs, it should not be taken lightly. We must check the head CT to exclude neurosurgical diseases and then treat the headache with symptomatic analgesia.
