Herpes pharyngitis is an acute infectious, febrile disease with common clinical manifestations of headache, anorexia, and high fever. Herpes pharyngitis is mostly caused by group A coxsackievirus infection, and occasionally by viruses in the intestinal tract. Herpes pharyngitis is caused by the following four aspects: 1. Insufficient function of the respiratory barrier of the body: for example, children with sparse nasal hair are not able to block rough foreign bodies in the air, so some viruses enter the body. 2, the body’s respiratory mucosa is very soft and tender, easily stimulated by the outside world and the phenomenon of congestion, but also may be accompanied by swelling inflammatory reaction. Common external factors include cold, irritating gas, etc. 3. The body does not have enough immune substances to fight against bacteria and viruses and is not able to kill the invading pathogens adequately. 4. Herpes pharyngitis occurs in children because the cilia on the respiratory tract of children are weak, so they cannot clear outward in time for some small particles such as dust and bacteria. Herpes pharyngitis is usually caused by the above four factors. Herpes pharyngitis can also occur easily if the body’s immunity is low and its defenses are inadequate.
