Treatment of genital herpes

Genital herpes is not very easy to cure completely and is prone to recurrence. For the treatment of genital herpes, there are still many unsolved problems and the treatment is not yet able to completely remove the virus or stop the recurrence of the disease. The aim of treatment is mainly to relieve symptoms, reduce pain, shorten the course of the disease and prevent secondary infections. First of all, one should be mentally relaxed, participate in normal work and study, live a regular life, take physical exercise appropriately and do not overexert oneself. The necessary avoidance of food is necessary to prevent recurrence. If you often eat spicy hair, smoking and drinking are not good for recovery, especially drinking alcohol can promote the relapse of the disease, aggravate the symptoms of the disease, so, after the disease must not drink alcohol. Eating foods rich in vitamins and proteins can help the recovery of the disease, such as fresh vegetables, fruits and milk, eggs, etc. There are no drugs or other treatments that can cure herpes, i.e. completely remove this virus from the body. However, acyclovir, valacyclovir, and famciclovir are very effective in accelerating the healing of initial symptoms, maximizing the frequency and extent of recurrences, and curing recurrences. Recurrent genital herpes: preferably within 24 hours of the onset of prodromal symptoms or damage, for 5 days; for frequent recurrences, for 4 to 12 months. Interferon can also be injected locally 3-5 times, every other day. Sodium phosphonate can be used for drug-resistant herpes simplex virus (HSV) infections. Bovine pox vaccine, BCG vaccine, and pedialyte sugar pills, all of which can be used as immunotherapy for genital herpes, are useful in reducing recurrence. The use of interferon, transfer factor and thymidine can also improve the body’s immunity.
