The presence of hematuria in nephritis is only one of the clinical manifestations of this disease. The treatment for hematuria needs to be combined with the specific condition, especially the specific pathological type of kidney puncture done to distinguish whether it is acute nephritis or chronic nephritis. If it is acute nephritis, anti-infection treatment with antibiotics, diuresis, decongestion, salt restriction and rest are needed, and most patients will have significant treatment effect. If it is chronic nephritis with hematuria, the most common type of pathology is IgA nephropathy, mild hematuria accompanied by a small amount of proteinuria can be treated with RAAS blockers, together with Jin Shui Bao, Huang Qi, Huang Qi capsules and other drugs. In case of severe nephritis, glucocorticoids combined with immunosuppressants are usually needed for treatment.
