Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is to use radiofrequency electrode needles under local anesthesia to insert into tumor body by percutaneous puncture under ultrasound or CT guidance, and then the radiofrequency generator turns on to form a closed circuit through the electrode needles, human body and electrode plate. The oscillating ions generate heat energy by rubbing against each other, so that the temperature of local tissues reaches 80-115 oC, which dehydrates, vaporizes, coagulates and necroses the tumor tissues around the electrode, thus achieving the purpose of destroying the lesion and treating the tumor. Patients have little knowledge about tumor and treatment before surgery. Performance anxiety and fear. Patients need to understand the purpose, process, effect and possible adverse effects of PRFA, so as to build up their confidence in overcoming the disease and to relieve their mental worries in order to make them in the best psychological state during treatment. Patients should fast and drink for 2 h before surgery. 6-12 h after surgery without nausea and vomiting, they can eat liquid diet in moderation, with small and frequent meals, and gradually change to high protein, high vitamin, easy to digest, nutrient-rich low-fat diet, prohibit greasy food, and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. Keep the bowel movement smooth. After surgery, patients should be absolutely bedridden for 6-12 h. If there is no abnormality, they can get out of bed after 24 h. Avoid premature activity and excessive force to prevent abdominal pressure from increasing suddenly to make the puncture site bleed. Patients generally have different degrees of fever after surgery, mostly at 37.5-39.5℃. This is due to the absorption of necrotic tumor tissue by the body. The patient should be given indomethacin suppositories to lower the temperature and drink more water to prevent dehydration while using antibiotics reasonably. Patients are usually discharged from hospital 3-5 days after surgery. After discharge, pay attention to rest and avoid strenuous exercise and weight-bearing in the near future; quit smoking and alcohol, avoid spicy food; maintain emotional stability and optimistic attitude towards life, cultivate a wide range of interests, arrange diet and living reasonably, which is conducive to the improvement of immune function; pay attention to the abdominal condition, generally review liver CT or MRI 40 days after surgery, review tumor index and liver function to understand the necrosis of lesions. If necessary, return to the hospital again for treatment.
