Hemangioma on liver is a benign tumor, usually it doesn’t matter, common symptoms and treatment methods are as follows. Hepatic hemangioma is the most common benign tumor of liver. When the tumor is not big, it is mostly asymptomatic and found during physical examination and caesarean section operation, when it increases in size, it will show symptoms of compression, which is often manifested as liver enlargement, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, loss of appetite and so on, and epigastric mass is a common sign. The disease develops slowly and can last from several years to decades. Treatment depends on tumor location, growth rate, size, clinical symptoms, and diagnostic accuracy. Generally, hepatic hemangiomas without compression symptoms do not require treatment, and ultrasound should be performed every three to six months to observe the changes of the tumor; hepatic resection is required when the following indications occur: the size is more than ten centimeters, there is a possibility of hemorrhage at the edge of the liver, and liver cancer cannot be ruled out. It is recommended that the patient should follow up and observe the hepatic hemangioma dynamically under the guidance of the doctor.
