Common diseases suitable for heart transplantation

Heart transplantation is different from other routine cardiac surgery. The following are common conditions for heart transplantation: 1. Advanced primary cardiomyopathy, including: dilated cardiomyopathy, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, restrictive cardiomyopathy and chronic Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. 2. Severe ischemic heart disease that cannot be treated with coronary artery bypass grafting. 3.Complex congenital heart disease that cannot be cured by corrective surgery. 4.End-stage valve disease, which cannot be treated by valve replacement surgery. 5.Other cardiac trauma and cardiac tumors that are difficult to be treated by surgery. 6.Extensive coronary arteriosclerosis and myocardial fibrosis of the transplanted heart after heart transplantation.
