Heart transplantation has long been recognized as an effective treatment for all types of end-stage heart disease, and the recent consecutive heart transplants in the department have made me think about heart transplantation again. The most common indications for heart transplantation are: end-stage coronary artery disease where multiple coronary artery bypass grafting cannot complete revascularization, dilated cardiomyopathy, end-stage valvular disease, and severe and complex congenital heart disease that cannot be corrected, etc. Heart transplantation is actually more effective than liver and kidney transplantation. The surgical efficacy of heart transplantation is actually better than that of common liver and kidney transplantation, and it is easier to manage after heart transplantation than liver and kidney transplantation. At present, the awareness and recognition of heart transplantation among domestic patients are still relatively low. Mainly focus on the following factors: 1, the traditional concept of the people of China that heart transplantation is equal to the change of people, the character of their thoughts will have a greater change, in fact, this is a major understanding of the misunderstanding, the brain is the only organ of the dominant thinking character. 2, economic factors, in addition to the capital of Beijing, China’s heart transplantation and postoperative immunosuppressive drug therapy into the medical insurance outside the rest of the provinces and cities are included in the scope of medical insurance, heart transplant patients a large number of pre-medical inputs have been consumed by all the family savings, the late rejection of the cost of drugs to become a major constraint on the long-term survival of heart transplantation factors are major obstacles to the clinical development of heart transplantation to the benefit of the patients. We strongly call for heart transplantation to enter the national health insurance and special catalog like liver transplantation and kidney transplantation. 3, organ shortage, organ shortage is still a major constraint for clinical heart transplantation. The gradual development of domestic brain-dead donor organ donation will help the organ shortage.
