What is “mouse hand”?

  ”Mouse hand” is commonly and narrowly referred to as “carpal tunnel syndrome”, which refers to the symptoms of compression of the median nerve and blood vessels entering the hand at the carpal tunnel, mainly resulting in stiffness and pain in the index and middle fingers, numbness and muscle weakness in the thumb. The main cause is stiffness, pain, numbness and muscle weakness in the thumb. More and more people in modern times are exposed to and use computers for long periods of time every day. Most of these Internet users repeatedly type on the keyboard and move the mouse every day, and the wrist joints become paralyzed, swollen, painful, and spastic due to intensive, repeated, and excessive activities over a long period of time, causing the wrist muscles or joints to become paralyzed, swollen, painful, and spastic, making this condition an increasingly common disease of modern civilization.  Some people call this symptom group different from the traditional hand injury “mouse hand”. Broadly speaking, all because of the use of the mouse and the upper extremity (arm, wrist, palm, fingers) discomfort, should be called mouse hand or mouse injury, in addition to the above finger hand symptoms, including shoulder and even neck discomfort, wrist and forearm fatigue and soreness, wrist stiffness, palm soreness.
