Parents must read: How to wash your child’s hands to prevent the onset of diarrhea?

The incidence of diarrhea in infants and children increases significantly in the summer and autumn seasons. Acute diarrhea can lead to dehydration, while chronic long-term diarrhea can affect growth and development, which seriously threatens the health of children, so pediatric diarrhea should not be underestimated. In summer and autumn, children’s palms are prone to sweating and breeding bacteria, and their little hands like to grab and play with anything they see, so they are easily contaminated, and little babies have the habit of eating their hands, and they like to eat their little hands, and the dirty things on their hands, including bacteria and viruses, are eaten together in their stomachs, which can lead to diarrhea, either bacterial diarrhea or viral diarrhea, so hand washing is an important means of preventing pediatric diarrhea. So, how should you wash your child’s hands? I have asked many parents, from young parents to experienced grandparents, and most of them use the methods of “wiping hands with wet wipes”, “wiping hands with wet towels”, and “rinsing hands with water”. “rinse small hands with water”. Today, I solemnly tell you that these hand-washing methods are wrong and cannot clean your child’s hands of bacteria and viruses. What is the correct way to wash hands? The correct way to wash your hands is to use children’s soap or hand sanitizer for children to wash their hands, some studies have shown that washing hands with soap can wash away 80% of the bacteria on your hands, and then wash them again to wash away 90% of the bacteria on your hands, effectively preventing bacteria or viruses from entering the gastrointestinal tract through the mouth, thus preventing diarrhea from occurring. And only with wet wipes, wet towel wipe hands, only rinse with water is not washed off the bacteria on the hands. Some parents worry about washing their hands with soap or hand sanitizer, these things will enter the mouth and harmful to the human body, in fact, this worry is superfluous, there are studies have shown that soap is harmless to the human body, doctors clinically use soap and water enemas to treat dry stools, constipation is a very good example. As long as the hands of the soap rinse a few more times can be rinsed clean. In addition to washing your child’s hands, parents should also wash their hands regularly, especially after cleaning up their child’s stool and wiping their bottom, because your hands are covered with E. coli.
