Symptoms of Mild Duodenal Ulcer

Patients with mild duodenal ulcers mainly present with epigastric discomfort, which may include distension, hunger pains and other discomforts, and a history of chronic process that can last for several years or more than ten years. The episodes are usually cyclical and can last for weeks or months, and the remission period can be long or short. The episodes are usually seasonal, mostly in autumn, winter or winter-spring, and some patients have eating-related episodes, which are mostly hunger pains and frequent episodes in the early morning and at night. Of course, some patients do not have significant pain, but only show symptoms of abdominal distention, anorexia, belching, acid reflux and other gastrointestinal disorders.
