The appearance of duodenal ulcer during lactation requires active formal treatment. If patients need to confirm the diagnosis, it is recommended to do gastroscopy directly, which can detect whether lesions occur in the gastric mucosa as well as in the bulb and descending part of the duodenum. If the diagnosis is clear duodenal ulcer should be treated with oral medication, oral omeprazole, clarithromycin, amoxicillin or combined gastric mucosal protectors such as magnesium aluminum carbonate, aluminum magnesium plus suspension. It is recommended to take oral medication for about a month and review the gastroscopy to see if the duodenal ulcer is healed, if it is not completely healed it is necessary to continue oral medication.
