Long and clear urine is one of the manifestations of Kidney-Yang deficiency, while those with Kidney-Yin deficiency usually have short and yellow urine. However, clinically it is not recommended to diagnose the disease by a single symptom only, and it should be combined with the main symptom, secondary symptom, tongue and pulse to make a comprehensive judgment. If you feel unwell, it is advisable to go to a regular hospital and get symptomatic treatment if necessary. In kidney yang deficiency, the body loses its warmth, which may lead to frequent and long urination, frequent nocturia, or prolonged diarrhea, undigested food in the stool, or diarrhea at five o’clock (diarrhea before dawn). Kidney yin deficiency, due to kidney yin deficiency, loss of nourishment, internal disturbance of heat, can be manifested as short yellow urine, five heart heat (two hearts and two feet heart fever, and consciously heart and chest fever (irritability and sultriness)), hot flashes (a burst of heat), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, waking up sweating stops), red tongue, less fluids, such as deficiency of yin and fluid symptoms.
