Radical cervical cancer surgery is the main treatment for early stage cervical cancer and it can lead to long-term survival or even cure in 80-90% of patients. However, it is not a perfect surgery because the scope of this surgery is quite demanding and may lead to many inconveniences for patients. The most important of these is the difficulty in urination and incontinence, followed by difficulty in defecation, dry stools, and lack of sensation in the bowels, and for those young patients, the greatest impact is the lack of sensation in sexual life. These conditions are mainly caused by the surgery, which requires the removal of the entire main ligament, where the main parasympathetic nerve is present, and the surgery requires the removal of part of the uterosacral ligament, where the parasympathetic nerve, which innervates the pelvic organs, is also present. In this way this surgery creates the deficiencies described earlier, and fortunately this surgery can bring such a good prognosis!
