Patients with familial hereditary prostate cancer have a slightly earlier age of onset, with 43% of patients aged ≤55 years. With the change of social environment in China, the improvement of people’s living standard and the arrival of aging population, the incidence of prostate cancer in China is also increasing year by year. Prostate diseases, such as prostate enlargement and prostate cancer, are increasingly becoming important problems that plague the health of aging men. Therefore it is necessary for men over 50 years of age to undergo annual routine physical examinations in prostate. The use of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) examination, combined with transrectal prostate ultrasound and prostate MRI, significantly improves the early diagnosis rate of prostate cancer and facilitates early treatment, prolonging the survival time of patients and obtaining a better quality of life.
