What are the dietary considerations for gallstones patients?

  Gallstones, also known as cholelithiasis, is a disease in which stones occur in the biliary system, including the gallbladder or bile ducts; biliary tract infections are among the common diseases. Due to the chronic stimulation of gallbladder mucosa by stones, it may also lead to the occurrence of gallbladder cancer, and the incidence of such gallbladder cancer has been reported to be up to 1%-2%. Scientific and reasonable diet is beneficial to the recovery of the disease, the following are the dietary considerations for gallstone patients.  1.Low cholesterol diet. Excessive cholesterol intake can increase the metabolic and cleaning burden of liver and gallbladder, and cause excess cholesterol to crystallize, accumulate and precipitate in the gallbladder wall, thus forming stones, so cholesterol intake should be reduced, especially at night, and foods with high cholesterol such as eggs (especially egg yolk), fatty meat, seafood, fish without scales, animal offal and other foods should be avoided.  2.Prohibit alcohol and alcoholic beverages.  3.Eat regularly and have a good breakfast.  4.It is advisable to use vegetable oil, not animal oil.  5.It is advisable to eat more dry beans and their products.  6.It is advisable to eat a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, into low-fat, low-cholesterol foods such as: kelp, mushrooms, celery, bean sprouts, fungus, lotus root, rabbit, fish, chicken, fresh beans, etc.  7, it is appropriate to use fried, boiled, braised, mixed, blanching, steamed, stewed cooking methods, without oil frying, deep-frying, baking, smoking cooking methods.  8, usually drink water, pinch a little hawthorn, sea buckthorn, ginkgo, gibberellic acid grass into the water cup as tea.  9, eat less chili, raw garlic and other stimulating food or spicy food.  10, hawthorn 10 grams, hang chrysanthemum 10 grams, cassia 15 grams, decoction for tea or drinking green tea.
