Thyroid nodules are a common clinical thyroid disorder. Patients with thyroid nodules usually need to undergo thyroid function tests for thyroid nodules when they go to the hospital. The best way to check thyroid function is to do the seven tests, because in addition to the regular thyroid hormone tests, it is also possible to check the two thyroid-related antibodies, which have good diagnostic and differential significance for the formation of some nodular lesions. Especially in diffuse lesions, the effect of the seven tests may be more obvious and may provide a basis for the diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. If there are any abnormalities in the thyroid function, it should be combined with ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland to evaluate the function of the thyroid nodules and the pathological nature of the nodules.
