Female menopausal syndrome

Female menopausal syndrome refers to a series of symptoms and signs that occur around the time of menopause due to a series of changes in the body’s endocrine (hormone levels), and is more commonly referred to clinically as “perimenopausal syndrome. However, the former is more widely known in non-medical circles and is still commonly referred to as the menopausal syndrome. Chinese medicine does not have a name for menopausal syndrome, but the book “Nei Jing? The “Nei Jing? Shang Gu Tian Zhen Lun” says: “When a woman is seven years old, her kidneys are strong, her teeth are more hairy, her second seven (around 14 years old) and the heavenly sebum arrives, the Ren vein is open, the Tai Chong vein is strong, and the menstruation starts to come on time, so she has children. …… When a woman is seven years old (around 49 years old), the Ren vein is weak, the Tai Chong vein is weak, the heavenly sebum is exhausted, and the earthly channel is not accessible. The earth channel is not accessible, so the form is bad and childless.” The cycle of growth, development, strength and aging of a woman is described in detail, and an important aspect of this cycle is the coming and going of the menstrual cycle, therefore, in a broad sense, we can put it under the category of menstrual disease. For women, menstruation accompanies most of the life cycle and often interacts with other diseases in the body, and abnormal menstruation is often an indicator of the health condition of the body and should be regulated in time if there is discomfort. According to Chinese medicine, women “take the liver as the first day”, and “after 40 years of age, the Yin energy is half”, the liver and kidney essence and blood begin to decline, menstruation begins to disorder, there will be “bouts of hot sweating, five heart trouble, irritability, dry mouth, insomnia, dreamy, back pain, menstrual disorders. The symptoms of menopause are usually called “menopausal symptoms”, such as “bouts of hot sweating, irritability, dry mouth, insomnia and dreaminess, lumbago, weak knees, dizziness, tinnitus, and osteoporosis”. However, in some people, during this period of physiological and psychological changes and fluctuations, there are situations where the usual emotions are not well regulated, the liver qi is not well nourished, and the liver qi is not comfortable. For women, this is a necessary process and a great test, whether or not they can smoothly pass this transitional stage has a great impact on family life and other aspects. Many women take some incorrect practices in order to delay menopause, which may not be good for them, aging is a necessary step for people, women must face this problem.
