What to see for thigh pain

The choice of the department to be seen depends on the patient’s specific medical history and symptoms.
If a patient presents with thigh pain, accompanied by low back pain, they may be seen in an orthopaedic department. If there is a clear history of trauma and a suspected fracture, you may also see an orthopaedic surgeon. Patients with localised numbness, itchiness and coldness, suspected to be lateral femoral cutaneous nerve impingement syndrome, should be seen by a neurologist.
