It is well known that regular consumption of vegetables and fruits can prevent different types of cancer. Research has found that increasing daily dairy consumption is a new way to prevent cancer! A recent study has shown that milk and yogurt play an important role in reducing the incidence of primary liver cancer (also known as hepatocellular carcinoma), a pathogenic condition of chronic hepatitis B. The Italian researcher, conducted an in-depth nutritional investigation of a group of liver cancer patients and a control group of cancer-free patients. He found that the intake of certain foods showed an inverse relationship with the risk of liver cancer. For example, those who consumed large amounts of milk and yogurt products had a lower risk of primary liver cancer or hepatocellular carcinoma. The findings also apply to hepatitis B and C, the researchers noted. So, while you are eating more fruits and vegetables to reduce your risk of developing cancer, make sure you are also consuming “milk” in your daily life. It is advisable to drink it with sugar: because the breakdown products of sucrose in the gastrointestinal tract will neutralize the calcium in milk, which will not only be detrimental to the absorption of calcium, but also encourage bacterial fermentation and gas production, leading to bloating.
