Our child psychiatrists emphasize that the use of adult criteria as diagnostic criteria for emotional disorders in children is not based on sound grounds. It is not to be regretted that up to now some international authoritative classification and diagnostic standards have not set up separate diagnostic standards for child psychiatric disorders. The lack of a clear and restrictive definition, standardized classification and diagnostic criteria for affective disorders in this age group makes it impossible to effectively test and compare the incidence rate, diagnostic reliability and validity in different regions. The establishment of such a diagnostic standard should be an important part of the agenda of psychiatry in recent years, both from the perspective of clinical operation and from the perspective of research needs. There is no uniform standard for children’s affective disorders, Anthony (1960) put forward 10 criteria for diagnosing bipolar disorder, Weinberg put forward the diagnostic criteria for mania, and Poinansk formulated the diagnostic criteria for children’s depression. Many foreign scholars do not agree to set up a separate standard for children’s affective disorders, and believe that the standard for adult affective disorders is also applicable to children, and the United States uniformly adopts the diagnostic standard of DSM-III adult affective disorders to diagnose children’s affective disorders. 1987 and later adopts the diagnostic standard of DSM-III-R adult affective disorders for the diagnosis of children’s affective disorders. Some people use scale scoring method, commonly used scales abroad are: 1, Puig-Antich and Chambens compiled by school-age children with affective disorders and schizophrenia scale (SADS); 2, Kovacs et al. in the adult Beck depression scale based on the modification of the development of children’s depression scale (CDI); 3, Herjanic compiled by the children and adolescents diagnostic scale; 4, Kovacs and others in the adult on the basis of Beck depression scale modified development (CDI); 3, Herjanic compiled children and Adolescent Diagnostic Scale (CADS) developed by Herjanic; 4. The Interview Scale for Children (ISC) developed by Kovass.
