Is it true that herbs prevent new coronavirus

There is no evidence to prove which herbal medicine can effectively prevent novel coronavirus. The effective measures given by the Bureau of Disease Prevention and Control of the National Health Commission for the prevention of novel coronavirus infection in the public are: (1) Minimize activities outside, such as visiting friends and relatives, gathering for meals and going to crowded public places, especially places with poor air mobility. (2) Do personal protection and hand hygiene, such as wearing a mask when going out, reducing contact with common objects in public places, avoiding direct contact with mouth, nose and eyes when you are not sure whether your hands are clean, and washing hands regularly. (3) Take the initiative to do personal and family members’ health monitoring, such as monitoring body temperature in the morning and evening; when suspicious symptoms appear, take the initiative to put on a mask and seek medical attention nearby. (4) Maintain good hygiene and health habits, such as diligent ventilation in the living room, not sharing towels, not touching and eating wild food, and paying attention to nutrition and moderate exercise.
