Does the new coronavirus fever go away?

A small proportion of patients with mild novel coronavirus infection may experience spontaneous fever remission following fever. The epidemiological data on novel coronaviruses are not perfect, and because of individual differences, symptoms are not uniform among individuals. The majority of infected individuals will have fever, malaise, and dry cough. The infection is self-limiting and may resolve on its own in patients with mild symptoms, while some patients with more severe symptoms may gradually develop respiratory distress. The elderly and people with underlying diseases will develop critical symptoms after infection, and the disease will progress rapidly, and acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis and coagulation dysfunction will soon appear, which will easily lead to death if these patients are not treated systematically and regularly.
