Cervical biopsy can usually be done in a few days with pills in the lower body

Vaginal plugs are usually allowed about 2 weeks after cervical biopsy. Cervical biopsy is an invasive test and is usually performed by using a cervical forceps to remove part of the lesion and send it to a pathologist for pathological diagnosis. Therefore, there is usually a small amount of vaginal bleeding after the biopsy, and the biopsy area will be invasive, with a period of debridement after crusting. Although the cervical canal mucosa is a strong healer, it takes about 2 weeks for the scab to fall off and for the bleeding to clear, so if the medication is inserted too early, vaginal infection may be triggered or combined, which is not conducive to recovery. In addition, if the healing time after cervical biopsy is prolonged, it is recommended that the duration of vaginal plugs be prolonged as well. Patients who have had a cervical biopsy are advised to avoid intercourse and bathing during the healing period, avoid physical exertion and emotional stress, and pay attention to keeping the vulva clean and eating lightly.
