What is meant by high purine food

  Foods containing 100-1000 mg of purine per 100 g are called high purine foods.  Gout is prohibited in both the acute and remission phases. Common ones are: (1) animal offal (liver, kidney, heart, pancreas, brain, etc.) (2) fish and shellfish (sardines, mackerel, carp, fish eggs, shrimp, oysters, and various other sea fish and seafood) (3) poultry (geese, partridges, etc.) (4) beer; (5) broth, yeast, beans, cereals.
