Autism is a psychological disorder that is basically formed congenitally, and only a small proportion of it is formed later in life by some environmental factors, so the formation of autism is the result of a combination of congenital and acquired effects. Autism is a serious chronic neuropsychiatric disorder involving multiple psychological developmental disorders such as language, cognition, and social interaction skills. The factors that contribute to the onset of autism are still unclear, and the congenital pathogenesis is mostly thought to be genetic. If a parent has autism, the risk of developing autism in their offspring is about 5%, which is higher than the risk of developing autism in the offspring of normal parents. Therefore, children with social interaction disorders, communication disorders, and restrictive, stereotypic, and repetitive behaviors should be seen immediately by a pediatric psychiatrist.
