Cervical cancer will not be detected by ultrasound. Ultrasound of the abdomen is an imaging test that can clearly see the organ tissues and detect the morphological changes of the organ tissues, such as cervical tumors, but it will not diagnose the nature of the tumor, and the smaller tumors on the cervix cannot be detected by ultrasound. Cervical cancer can only be diagnosed through cervical smear and cytological examination. The main methods for cervical cancer diagnosis include cervical smear, colposcopy, cervical cancer screening and cervical biopsy. Since the early clinical manifestations of cervical cancer are not typical, once detected, it is often in the middle to late stage. Therefore, for women above middle age, it is recommended to undergo regular annual medical checkups for cancer screening to detect the disease early, diagnose it and treat it as early as possible.
