Is congenital hemangioma an infantile hemangioma?

No, it is not. Congenital hemangioma refers to a type of vascular tumor in which the lesions are fully proliferated at birth and do not continue to proliferate rapidly after birth. The appearance of congenital hemangiomas is different from that of infantile hemangiomas, and the manifestation of lesions before the onset of infantile hemangiomas is also significantly different. There are at least two major subtypes of congenital hemangiomas: rapidly regressing congenital hemangiomas and non-regressing congenital hemangiomas. The growth curve of NICH became flat after birth and had no tendency to regress.
