Bloodless liver resection miracle, easy to remove huge liver cancer

Yesterday, we performed hepatectomy for a patient with giant hepatocellular carcinoma of the right liver. Intraoperatively, we saw that: the liver showed cirrhotic manifestation, and there was a tumor located in the lower hepatic segment of the right liver with the longest diameter of about 15 cm, and it involved the upper right anterior lobe and a little bit of the left inner lobe with multiple metastases around. Due to the small size of the left half of the liver, there was a risk of complication of liver insufficiency if the right half of the liver was resected regularly after the operation. The patient returned to the ward with a rosy complexion, stable vital signs and normal hematocrit, and the patient and his family were very satisfied. The author flexibly applied the modified bloodless hepatectomy and various hepatic dissection techniques in various hepatectomies to effectively control the blood loss during hepatectomy, which can generally be controlled within 300ml~500ml. In this case, because of the effective control of blood loss during hepatectomy, the resection of giant hepatocellular carcinoma was made very easy. As we all know, liver is rich in blood supply, and the biggest danger of hepatectomy is that the amount of blood loss is difficult to control, and the amount of blood loss directly threatens the patient’s life safety and recovery of liver function after surgery. Flexible application of modified bloodless hepatectomy and hepatic dissection method, coupled with the pure technique, can effectively control the amount of bleeding during hepatectomy and guarantee the safety of the operation, creating a miracle that is unimaginable to the general public. As long as there is an indication, there is no forbidden area for liver surgery.
