EGFR-TKI-targeted drug therapy considerations

  1. Dosing: Take 1 hour after a meal. (According to the latest progress of EGFR-TKI, not the instructions) 2. Rash: The most common side effect, often related to drug efficacy. Generally, no treatment is needed. If the skin itching is severe, topical application of skin relaxation, Wuji cream, etc.; if accompanied by pus, topical application of gentamycin eye ointment or Bactrim ointment (generally available in pharmacies). 3, diarrhea: a few patients will have diarrhea symptoms.                       Mild diarrhea can be taken Simethicone, moderate or severe diarrhea can be used diarrhea. 4. Avoid direct sunlight (ultraviolet rays can induce skin photoallergy and aggravate the rash), use sunscreen when going out, and preferably use an umbrella in summer to avoid UV damage to the skin. 5. If the clinical symptoms are aggravated or weakness is obvious after taking the targeted drugs, the targeted drugs can be reduced as appropriate. 6. Review liver and kidney function every 2 weeks, if there is liver damage, liver protection treatment should be timely. The use and efficacy monitoring of targeted drugs must be carried out under the guidance of experienced experts, and should not be taken on your own.
