Consequences of excessive worry for depressed mothers

Mothers of patients with major depressive disorder (rather than bipolar depression) are more likely to be neurotic. They are overly nervous about the patient’s depression, and although they are diligent in seeking medical care, they are overly afraid that the condition will worsen, so they are often worried about the medication adjusted by the doctor. The rate of improvement will decrease and slow down, so your worry is actually harming the patient. If I were the mother of a patient, I would do whatever the doctor said, as long as it was a doctor I trusted, and I would not interfere with the doctor’s decision. The doctor may make mistakes, but I am a layman, if I interfere, the chance of making mistakes is much greater than the doctor, so I prefer to let the doctor judge, I do not want to be the chairman, do not want this final decision. Sun Tzu said, “The one who will be able and the king will not be able to win”. So what if I don’t trust the doctor? I won’t see him again either.
