The BI-RADS classification of breast nodules is the method of describing the results of a mammogram. A BI-RADS classification of 4A indicates that the nodule has the potential to be malignant, but the chances are not higher than 10%. A nodule found at this level requires further detailed examination to confirm the nature of the nodule. The main method of diagnosing nodules is biopsy, which is also the gold standard for diagnosis. The most common method of biopsy is a puncture biopsy. If the pathology results are benign, the nodule can be followed up and observed, and ultrasound examination is required for three to six months. The most fundamental method is to send the pathology after minimally invasive resection or open surgery to remove the nodule, the pathology result is benign without worrying, malignant tumor needs further treatment, in either case further examination and confirmation is recommended.
