People with depression need important attention

Speller, a leading American expert on depression, said, “Depression tends to strike those who are the most ambitious, the most creative, the most serious about their work.” ? Historical celebrities such as Isaac Newton, Darwin, Abraham Lincoln, and Winston Churchill have suffered from depression. Stars such as Leslie Cheung, Melissa Ong, and Audrey Hepburn died due to depression. There are countless celebrities and movie stars who have suffered from depression, and those who have committed suicide due to depression are constantly in the press. According to incomplete statistics, the suicide rate of depressed people is higher than 30%. This is also an important reason why depression is becoming more and more of a social concern. It is very important to treat depressed patients promptly and actively, and not to treat depressed patients as a thought problem or general mental stimulation to avoid accidents. Depression is a common mental illness, which is of the same nature as diabetes and hypertension, and is not caused by a defect in human character. Depression is a disease, and it is a disease that requires medication. Many people with mild depression do not take the disease seriously and always think that they will get over it, which eventually worsens the condition and develops into moderate or even severe depression. Depression is not a disease that can be fought with will, but must be diagnosed in a regular hospital outpatient clinic and treated according to the doctor’s prescription. It is by no means alarming that patients with severe depression must attract enough attention from their families and units for mandatory inpatient treatment to prevent patients from harming themselves by committing suicide and other actions. The common methods used to treat depression are medication, physical therapy and psychotherapy, and doctors will choose to use different treatment options depending on the depression. Depressed patients have a process of psychological degradation and re-growth during the treatment process, and many depressed patients are particularly child-like in their psychological state and behavior, including some recurring conditions. At this time, they need the tolerance and support of their family members, so that they can have firm confidence to cooperate with the doctor’s treatment and recover their health as soon as possible. Depression is but a transient phenomenon, and most patients will be cured after regular, standardized and scientific treatment as long as they follow the doctor’s treatment plan.
