Autumn diarrhea is most severe on the first day

Fall diarrhea, which occurs in children, is caused by rotavirus infection, and patients have the most severe symptoms within the first 1-3 days after infection. Rotavirus infection is associated with fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. At the beginning of the infection, the child’s immune system is not fully awakened due to the strong virulence of the virus, so the symptoms are relatively heavy, so you should actively consult the gastroenterology or pediatric clinic of the hospital. Persistent vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration, depression and loss of appetite, requiring timely hydration with fluids. However, the disease is somewhat self-limiting, and diarrhea symptoms generally recover within a week or so. Older children with mild symptoms may be advised to take oral rehydration salts and drink sugar water to avoid dehydration. Therefore, parents are advised to pay attention to their children’s hand hygiene and food hygiene in daily life, choose soft food, chew slowly, and do not eat too much at a time.
