Dietary considerations for scleroderma

Scleroderma patients should try to avoid foods that are too hard, too spicy, too cold or too hot, subject to medical advice.
Scleroderma may involve the digestive tract, making the gastrointestinal tract hardened and dysfunctional. Foods that are too hard (e.g., nuts, potpourri), too spicy (e.g., chili peppers, alcohol), or too cold or too hot (e.g., ice cream, fondue) are not conducive to digestion and absorption, and should be eaten sparingly, or even not eaten at all.
It should also be noted that the effect of different foods on the organism can be due to personal constitution, the severity of the disease and so on, there are individual differences, so diagnosed scleroderma should be under the guidance of the doctor, according to the actual situation of the individual dietary adjustments. Do not blindly dispose of yourself, so as not to intervene inappropriately, resulting in adverse consequences.
Scleroderma patients are recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, in accordance with the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment and reasonable diet.
