How long can I breastfeed after drinking a cup of milk tea while breastfeeding

In general, it is recommended that breastfeeding women drink milk tea for 2 hours before breastfeeding. Usually, breastfeeding women are advised to drink less or no milk tea. This is because milk tea may have additives added during the production process and also contains more ingredients such as creamer, flavoring, trans fatty acids and hydrogenated vegetable oils, which have no nutritional value when consumed in excess and can also have an impact on milk quality. In addition, milk tea also contains caffeine and other ingredients that can lead to excessive maternal or infant excitement, which is not conducive to the development of the baby’s nervous system and organs. If you can’t resist having a sip of milk tea, it is recommended to feed your child after 2 hours, when the milk tea can be decomposed and digested, and its components remain relatively less in your body. In addition, breastfeeding women should eat a light and easy-to-digest diet, and it is recommended to eat more high-protein foods, such as fish, milk and eggs, and more fresh vegetables and fruits to ensure an adequate supply of vitamins and trace elements, which can improve the quality of breast milk.
