When is the peak month for hair loss during breastfeeding

Peak hair loss during breastfeeding usually occurs 1-2 months after delivery and usually lasts until the end of the breastfeeding period. Hair loss during breastfeeding is more common and is often associated with abnormalities in the endocrine system. After delivery and birth, women’s hormones cannot return to a non-pregnant state in the short term, and therefore can lead to low endocrine estrogen, which can manifest as vulvar and vaginal dryness and hair loss. Some breastfeeding women are anemic and have poor rest and mental health, which can also lead to hair loss. However, patients should not worry too much as hair loss will gradually subside over time. If necessary, patients can take oral treatment such as blood support capsules after breastfeeding, which can lead to rapid hair growth. Therefore, in order to improve hair loss as soon as possible, it is recommended that breastfeeding women eat a reasonable nutritional diet, avoid or reduce the intake of spicy and stimulating food, pay attention to rest, avoid staying up late, and keep a relaxed mood, which can usually achieve better results.
