Liver function is normal, and cirrhosis may also occur. The compensated stage of cirrhosis starts insidiously, and patients may have no clinical discomfort or only mild weakness, abdominal distension, mildly large liver and spleen, and mild jaundice. With the further development of the disease, the degree of cirrhosis is further aggravated, and the patient’s liver function will also show corresponding changes. Not only the transaminases may rise gradually, but also the bilirubin may increase significantly. It should be noted that cirrhosis is not diagnosed by liver function, but is further clarified clinically by liver imaging and liver fibrin tetralogy. When liver function is normal, cirrhosis may not need to be given special treatment and only treatment for the primary disease is required. In order to avoid ignoring cirrhosis due to normal liver function and missing the best treatment period, routine medical checkups are recommended, especially for patients with long-term heavy alcohol abuse and viral hepatitis.
